WWE 2K14: 6 Adjustments From WWE 13 That Must Be Made
When WWE 13 was announced last year, the game had an incredible amount of hype, with the fan-favorite Attitude Era playing a major role in the pre-release marketing. The folks at THQ assembled the most impressive roster that a WWE game has ever seen, with the inclusion of 44 Attitude-Era playable superstars, (including DLC and Divas) and 62 modern playable superstars (including Legends, DLC and Divas). The game also brought back a few match types (I Quit and Special Guest Referee), added the King of the Ring Tournament, introduced WWE Live, improved upon the Predator Technology and even let us create our own arena. To say I was excited to play WWE 13 when the game first came out on October 30th is an understatement. I placed the disk into the tray and as soon as I started my first match, my excitement was brought straight back down to earth. The visuals popped nicely and the sound was OK, but wow is the gameplay stale. I've compiled a list (in no particular order) of six ways WWE 2K can right this ship and make WWE 14 (or WWE 2K14) a title that all gamers can enjoy.
