WWE 2K14: Doing It The "2K-Way"

Introduce Tendencies

dive Putting tendencies in the game is probably the most important addition 2K can introduce to WWE Games. When is the last time you saw a computer-controlled CM Punk do his outside dive move in WWE 13? My answer at least, is never. WWE 13 is supposed to be a simulation game, but it plays more like a hybrid of street fighter and a wrestling game. The CPU, at least it seems, is programmed to mostly use grapple moves and strike moves, even if they are known to do other things, such as go to the top rope or beat down a limb to prepare for his/her finisher move (Alberto Del Rio, for example). It's pretty clear that the THQ developers wanted to bring out individual styles by a superstars move-set, which is definitely a great start, but to round everything out, they have to add tendencies to the game. Adding move-sets isn't enough because you can only do so much with them. For example, a superstar can have the coolest top rope moves in their move-set that they want, but the CPU will never execute those moves if they aren't programmed to go to the top. Let's look at a few tendency ideas that the developers could use (there would be a slider from 1-100 after all these categories): Use top rope Use springboard dives Grapple attack Strike attack Irish whip Use weapons Use primary finisher/Use secondary finisher (For example, CM Punk using either GTS or Anaconda Vice Target Limbs (separate categories for arms/legs/head) Pin Attempts Taunt Frequency Use finisher quickly or store finisher OMG moment frequency Leave ring frequency Again, this is THE MOST important thing 2K can add to these WWE games. Can anyone think of any more tendencies 2K could add into the game?
