2. OUT: Curtis Axel
Our current (although you wouldn't know it) Intercontinental champion is notably absent from WWE 2K14. It's not as if he's an entirely new face either, as he was originally packaged as the sinfully awfully Michael McGillicutty, champion of the greatest promo of our time. Granted, McGillicutty had sparing television time prior to his repackaging, but then you could say that for a large majority of the "fillers" on the roster. There are a bunch of wrestlers chucked in to fill up the numbers, as McGillicutty was himself a couple of years back. Once he debuted as Axel, his image wasn't any different either, besides a fresh pair of tights. It doesn't sound like the most audacious task to include him in the game. If there's place on the roster for Justin Gabriel, then there's a place for Curtis Axel.
