WWE 2K15: 10 Key Questions 2K Need To Answer

7. What Does The Next Gen Offer?

Wwe 2k15 Next Gen Given that the next generation is firmly in full swing, the biggest question for any annual game coming this year is how the software is going to improve to match the improved capabilities of the consoles at the top end of the market. Will WWE 2K15 do the new generation justice, and conversely will the new technology allow the developers to pull off everything they want to achieve with the game? From the information that has been teased so far, we know that the developers are seeking more realistic match pacing and flow, which can only be a good thing - and that the new mo-cap system (which includes the use of an authentic WWE ring) will increase the number of animations for wrestlers by a staggering factor of five. That seems unlikely to have been possible on the last generation of consoles, so fans picking the game up on PS3 and XBox One can probably expect a compromise in gameplay. There's also a lot more planned for audio - for the first time 2K have brought Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole together to be recorded, which means more authentic banter, actual discussion and impressively, around 30 to 35 hours of commentary each to keep up diversity in sound.
