9. The Release Date
You'll be able to get your hands on WWE 2K15 this autumn, with a release date of October 28th in North America and October 31st in Europe. The game will be available on both Xbox and Playstation platforms. Obviously the more powerful hardware of the Xbox One and Playstation 4 will give the ultimate WWE gaming experience, but the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will prove a popular buying choice too, with many gamers yet to make the jump to next gen gaming. To give a time frame of how things might proceed from here, it was around mid July that the Ultimate Warrior campaign got started. The game then received a considerable push around WWE's August SummerSlam show. We should know the vast majority of details by the time September rolls around. Is there any chance that the games release could slip? It seems unlikely. There had been some talk about delaying the release to coincide with WWE's March / April WrestleMania extravaganzas. However that would cut the game out of the lucrative Thanksgiving and Christmas sales. It would be a massive shock if 2K were to change plans from their confirmed October release.
