3. Michael Cole Wrestles Jerry Lawler Way Too Many Times In 2011
When looking back at Michael Cole's run as a heel announcer the big question is why? Why would WWE waste so much time trying to get over an announcer as a heel when there are so many talents on the roster that could use that kind of TV time? Nobody really knows. All we know is that for whatever reason, WWE felt the Cole vs. Lawler match at WrestleMania 27 in 2011 way too much time and it bored everybody. It was brutal. What's sad about the whole thing is that WWE didn't stop there. The feud continued from there with Jim Ross getting involved because apparently somebody in WWE felt like having announcers try to wrestle was this great idea. No. It sucked. It was so bad that it made people want to stop watching. The Cole/Lawler feud ended up running way too long and then they ended up working together after as if nothing really happened with them. Those of us that watched it wish it was nothing. Why would anybody want to use Michael Cole in a video game anyway? Perhaps it would be a good character to beat up. He's useful in that sense.
