WWE 2K15 Roster: 10 Biggest Omissions

8. Sin Cara

Mistico, a mega star in Mexico, came to WWE with a ton of buzz when he was signed in January 2011. Officials and fans alike had high expectations for the luchador, salivating over the idea of a potential match between him and Rey Mysterio. Vignettes aired for the renamed Sin Cara in the weeks preceding WrestleMania, hyping his eventual arrival. However, his uninspiring in-ring against Primo on the April 11 Raw set the tone for the remainder of his run, as the multitude of mistakes (or "botches") during his matches became a running gag from that point forward. Despite debuting after WrestleMania 27, Sin Cara was still included in the WWE '12 video game. WWE must have known that he was main roster bound and used his move set as Mistico for his virtual character. He'd suffer various injuries over the course of his career in WWE and was never able to stay healthy for an elongated period of time. Before long, he became an enhancement talent and wasn't involved in anything of note in his final few months with the company before being released in March. WWE 2K15 will mark the first WWE video game to not feature Sin Cara since SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. Even though Mistico was no longer portraying Sin Cara by December 2013, Hunico took over the character and has been under the mask ever since. The "rejuvenated" Sin Cara even managed to score clean two victories over Alberto Del Rio, but apparently that wasn't enough to land him a spot in WWE 2K15.
