WWE 2K14 Rating: 91WWE 2K15 Expected Rating: 85 Kane featured twice in 2K14, you could play as the modern day persona or the retro Kane. In both instances his rating was 91. Let's put that into context here: Brock Lesnar is also rated 91. Multi-time World Champion Edge is rated 91. Is the current Kane really on a par with Lesnar? Is the retro Kane really equal to Edge's career? You have to say that 2K over-rated the big red machine. He's a reliable and solid talent, but he shouldn't be ranked alongside the same challenge of a Brock Lesnar. It wasn't even as if Kane was a major star when 2K were making last year's game. He was then the comedic partner of Daniel Bryan in the mid card's Team Hell No. Since then his career declined into a period of inactivity before a slight resurgence in recent months. Indeed, he's actually challenged for the Title as recently as Battleground. However, we fully expect Kane to return to the lower rungs of the roster very soon. A continued rating of 91 in 2K15 would be wholly misleading. The developers would be much better advised to rate Kane an 85, allowing space for newer 90 rated wrestlers such as Roman Reigns.
