WWE 2K15 Roster: 15 Overrated Wrestlers That Need Downgrading

4. Randy Orton

WWE 2K14 Rating: 92WWE 2K15 Expected Rating: 89 With a rating of 92, Randy Orton was considered one of the very elite wrestlers on WWE 2K14. Only John Cena was rated higher out of the full time wrestlers. Is 2K's high rating a fair reflection of Orton's talent? He was a WWE Champion as of SummerSlam 2013 and remained at the top of WWE's cards all the way up until WrestleMania 30. The thing is, Orton just isn't very exciting. His action is based on being a heel rather than being the best. You certainly wouldn't say he was a tougher opponent than Brock Lesnar. Neither would you say he's a better wrestler than a Cesaro (rated 88 last year). Taking these factors into account, 2K should consider a demotion for Orton in 2K15. The 92 rating makes him one of the very best in 2K14, regardless of era. It just doesn't ring true. He's good but he shouldn't be getting put in the same brackets as the likes of Austin, Hart of Flair. For WWE 2K15 a rating of 89, just below the magical 90 level, seems far fairer.
