Game cover star John Cena is destined to make two appearances in 2K15, just like he did last year in 2K14. So far 2K have only announced the one Cena character, which will be the Cenation leader you see week in week out on television. However, with 2K Showcase mode in mind, a retro Cena from the 2011 period will definitely be included. Wearing John's trademark merchandise from the period, retro Cena will increase the authenticity of 2K's efforts to reproduce the legendary Punk vs Cena feud.
5. Retro Triple H
In the same respect, WWE 2K15 will feature a retro Triple H. The currently announced Hunter is the Authority character who recently battled The Shield. If you take a look at his game artwork, he's sporting the shaved head. However, we've also seen artwork showing the long haired Hunter from 2003. He'll be a major part of 2K showcase, with the game retelling the story of Hunter's feud with Shawn Michaels. Yet the retro Hunter wasn't announced in the roster reveal, it is just the current character listed at 2K's website. So in this case, we can say with 100% certainty that 2K15 will have both current Triple H and a retro Triple H as playable characters. We know the showcase mode is there, so it simply must have retro Triple H.
4. Corporate Kane
WWE 2K15 will already feature Kane, but it will be in the masked role that he's most famous for. Ironically though, Kane has actually spent more time as Corporate Kane in the last half year, and is back to being the Director Of Operations in his current role. With this in mind, you should probably expect 2K to include Kane's unmasked role. The aim of the developers is to reflect the current WWE roster as accurately as possible. Including the corporate version of the demon will help them achieve this.
