A female WWE 2K16 cover star would make a lot of sense. Firstly, it would be a break from the tradition of boring male main event wrestlers posing on the cover. Secondly, it would represent WWE's move towards equality and giving positive female role models. Thirdly, on a more superficial level, a female cover star would actually make sense in attracting interest from WWE's main 18-35 year old male demographic. The leading candidate to be cover star would have to be Paige, as she's already got solid merchandise sales numbers and is positioned as the key diva on the main roster. There is of course The Bella Twins, which from a commercial point of view, WWE would be keen to utilise.
