WWE 2K16: 10 Shocking Roster Omissions

5. Legion Of Doom

The exclusion of the Legion Of Doom from the game is a strange one. Earlier this year, video footage was shot of both Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler recording commentary for the title. Of course, Ross will feature heavily in the Steve Austin mode, which takes in major moments of 'The Rattlesnake's' career. In the video, Ross and Lawler were providing comments for a WWF Tag-Team Title match featuring Austin. Alongside Shawn Michaels, 'Stone Cold' was a reigning WWF Tag-Team Champion in June, 1997, and the pair faced the Legion Of Doom on an episode of Raw. The commentary in the clip seemed to revolve around this bout, but neither Hawk nor Animal are confirmed for WWE 2K16. What makes this shocking is that there was obviously a build of the characters for Ross and Lawler to commentate on. The Legion Of Doom challenging Austin and Michaels for the tag titles would have been a fun match to include. Better yet, it would have been the ideal excuse to feature The Road Warriors in the game. Shockingly, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
