Current gen gamers were left a little disappointed by the Showcase offered to them in 2K15. Only two rivalries were featured with 'Hustle, Loyalty, Disrespect', focussing on John Cena and CM Punk's feud from 2011-2013 and 'Best Friends, Bitter Enemies', which chronicled the rivalry between Triple H and Shawn Michaels from 2002-2004. Christian's 'One More Match', Mark Henry's 'Hall of Pain' and Ultimate Warrior's 'Path of Warrior' were later made available as DLCs but they cost more money so didn't really appease matters whatsoever. It wasn't that each rivalry was done poorly by last year's game, it was merely the lifespan of them accumulatively didn't take you very far as the rest of the title's facets were so limited. This looks to have been sorted out by the potential longevity of the featured Stone Cold Steve Austin mode - which runs right the way from Austin's days as WCW's Stunning Steve; through ECW's Superstar Steve; and finally WWE's Stone Cold. The Texas Rattlesnake's mode looks to be so jam packed that the powers that be have only offered one further Showcase Mode as a DLC. This comes in the form of a 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase, which includes the following matches: Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Jake The Snake Roberts; Rikishi vs. The Rock; Alundra Blayze vs. Paige; Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes+ Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair; The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake); The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)
