WWE 2K18: 10 Forgotten Things You Can Still Do
2. Use 'Generic' Entrances Specific To CAWs
Tucked away in that superb creation suite, 2K included several trademark entrance routines for wrestlers who aren't even in the game. Again, this just shows how much those on the development team love wrestling. Why else would they animate Kenny Omega's entrance when he's not one of the game's characters?
Should you download the NJPW favourite from Community Creations, it's heartening to know his movements have been stored away as 'Alpha Omega'. He's not the only one either, because 'Silverback' (Ryback), 'Top Enforcer' (Arn Anderson) and 'Generic Superstar 8' (Austin Aries) all pay tribute to real wrestlers players will probably create/download.
This isn't a new thing to the series. THQ used to do similar things with their own WWE franchise, but it was never a given 2K would continue the tradition. More than ever, CAWs fit snugly into the game's roster without standing out as ugly, unpolished characters that look inferior to the dev-created models.
