WWE 2K19: 10 Awesome New Things You Can Do
4. A Female Royal Rumble
There's no female MyCareer again this year, and that will disappoint some before buying 2K19. The developers (and WWE) have missed a trick here, especially with the all-women's Evolution pay-per-view on the horizon. That would have been a logical tie-in. Instead, it's a glaring missed opportunity.
On the plus side, female Royal Rumbles are available for the very first time in series history.
Some of the older games have included the option to wrestle as women in a standard Rumble match. Usually, that mimicked the likes of Chyna or Beth Phoenix entering the men's fray. It was never a standalone option in its own right though, so it's nice to see 2K finally give female wrestling fans something new to play around with here.
Excluding the extra four females upcoming in DLC packs (Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Lacey Evans and Maria Kanellis), there are 38 women to choose from on-disc. That's enough for a full 30-person Rumble, and it means players can leave out those they don't want involved.
