WWE 2K19: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See

1. Monthly Live Updates

Developers on other major gaming franchises like FIFA have discussed turning their title into an always-on, up-to-the-minute footballing experience in the future. That sounds exciting, doesn't it? It's something 2K should think about themselves.

They wouldn't have to update every day. Monthly live updates would suffice, and they'd solve the current problem WWE games have of seeming outdated just a few months after release. Then, 2K wouldn't be under as much pressure to replicate WWE's real-life roster changes out of the box; they could sort those issues out monthly via these updates.

A "WWE 2K Live" function would serve multiple purposes. For one, it'd enable stat updates or ring attire changes. Secondly, fresh tag-teams like Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler would instantly form in-game without players having to manually set them up. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, actual stories from TV could be uploaded to Community Creations shortly after they happen.

That's assuming 2K want to bring back Create-A-Story, of course. That's an argument for another day...
