WWE 2K19: 10 Wrestlers 2K Should Showcase Next
7. Kurt Angle
Despite giving Steve Austin some of his best matches in 2001, Kurt Angle wasn't featured in the 2K16 Showcase. As understandable as it was that 2K couldn't cram everything in, that felt like a missed opportunity at the time. Gifting Angle his very own mode would more than make up for it.
Kurt will continue working occasional matches long after he ceases playing the role of Raw GM, and his story is one of the best in WWE folklore, so he's fully deserving. A genuine Olympic gold medalist who took to wrestling like he'd been doing it forever, Angle has has epic tussles with everyone from Austin and The Rock to Shane McMahon and Shawn Michaels.
This Showcase has been on wish lists for years.
Should WWE stage rematches with Triple H in 2019, or put Angle in there with fresh opponents such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and the like towards the end of this year, then his Showcase would have a nice final chapter as well.
