WWE 2K19 Ratings: 10 Superstar Ratings That Make No Sense
8. Dolph Ziggler
Rating: 84
Why It Makes No Sense: He’s here to show the world, he’s here to show the world! Annnndddddd….. he’s gone.
It’s safe to say that Dolph Ziggler has had a rough year. He spent the last few months of 2017 impersonating numerous wrestlers, all to deafening silence… if only he had done Tommaso Ciampa. He won the US Championship at Night of Champions before “quitting”, only to return four weeks earlier at the Royal Rumble, where he…. Was eliminated in two minutes.
The Shawn Michaels doppelgänger took his act to a new level when he sided with Drew McIntyre in an act that all too closely resembled The Two Dudes With Attitudes in the ‘90s. In his stint with McIntyre, he won the Intercontinental Championship as well as the Tag Titles. Not too shabby.
However, it must be said that this year has been more start/stop than ever for Ziggler. He did absolutely nothing in the Royal Rumble, essentially ripped off a team from the ‘90s, and has been booked as nothing more than a cowardly heel. Keeping in mind that his rating of 84 puts him on par with Aleister Black and Asuka, Ziggler’s rating far exceeds his portrayal on TV.
Something along the lines of an 81-82 would suit him far better.
