Why It Makes No Sense: The Miz has won the Intercontinental championship three separate times since May 2017, and has delivered some of the best mic work of his career in that time. He has been given a rating of 86. Shinsuke Nakamura on the other hand, low-blowed AJ Styles till he got bored and started low-blowing Jeff Hardy instead. Nakamura has a rating of 87.
There’s not much to be said about this apart from “THE MIZ IS TOO GOOD FOR AN 86!!!” In 2018, The Miz has done nothing but prove that he is the company’s most valuable asset. In fact, the only argument that could be made against The Miz prior to 2018 was that he wasn’t up to par in the ring. Well, he proved at WrestleMania and Backlash that he could swim with the sharks, putting on stellar heel performances against both Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins.
Since then, his feud with Daniel Bryan has been just as good as everyone expected it to be, and he has somehow found a way to make Maryse an interesting part of their storyline. He even got a f****** toy baby over!!!
The Miz’s impeccable in-ring and character work merits him a rating equal to that of his rival Daniel Bryan (88) at the very least.
