WWE 2K20: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See
5. A Female Cover Star
The last woman to grace the cover of a WWE game was Torrie Wilson in THQ's SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. That was released 13 years ago, and Torrie didn't even get the whole box. She had to share it with Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Batista and Triple H. That, back then, was understandable.
Times have changed.
Nobody would complain if Becky Lynch dominated the WWE 2K20 box art. 'The Man' is one of the promotion's biggest stars, male or female, and it'd be refreshing to see 2K reflect WWE's decision to shine the spotlight on women at WrestleMania 35; they main-evented there, so why not make one the headline star for the new game?
Of course, this leads neatly into a bonus point. 2K20 needs a female Showcase and/or the ability to create women in MyCareer. This shouldn't be deemed 'innovation' by this point in proceedings. Women's wrestling is every bit as valuable as its male counterpart.
