WWE 2K20: 10 Most Likely Showcase Modes
2. Batista
If an 'Animal' Showcase opens with his time in Evolution alongside Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton then fittingly ends at this year's WrestleMania opposite 'The Game', then Batista's story will have come full circle. This is too good an opportunity for 2K; it's not every year a video game-like tale that happened in reality falls on their laps.
Besides, putting Batista on 2K20's cover is a no-brainer.
He's a Hollywood star now, one that commands attention from a more casual market than WWE usually cater towards. Putting him on the box would draw eyes from those who normally wouldn't give a toss about wrestling games, and it'd stir up memories in those who recall his career at the same time. This, in case you hadn't guessed, is something this writer believes is win-win.
Evolution and that first career-making feud with Triple H, his rivalries with 'King' Booker, John Cena and Rey Mysterio, the heel turn that preceded the Rey issues and his two comebacks are all perfect fodder here. Batista's Showcase has the added advantage of gaps in the timeline, meaning 2K don't need to be as exhaustive.
