WWE 2K21: 10 Predictions For What We Could Have Got
2. Undertaker Showcase
The game is WWE 2K21. Why wouldn't you have that title and not include the fabled 21-0 Streak of the Undertaker as your Showcase and maybe have him as the cover star?
The game's release would likely have coincided with the Deadman's retirement at that year's Survivor Series so it would have made perfect sense to include a playthrough of his WrestleMania legacy featuring the most varied selection of stars ever, like Giant Gonzales, Jimmy Snuka, Kane, Randy Orton, not to mention his legendary bouts with Shawn Michaels, eventually leading to the Streak-breaker with Brock Lesner at 'Mania XXX.
What makes this more plausible is that CM Punk was part of the company again by this stage as an analyst on WWE Backstage. There would have been no better time to bring him back as an opponant for the final Mania win.
But why stop there? Include the post-Streak matches as a bonus and end with him riding into the sunset following the AJ Styles Boneyard match. Throw in either some cheesy in-character cutscenes or interviews with Mark Calaway discussing each match, and you'd likely end up with the best Showcase of them all.
