WWE 2K22: 10 Wrestlers Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut

4. WALTER

Walter 2K20

This big beefy f*cker needs to be in WWE 2K22, part deux.

Following the then-NXT United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate were included in 2018's WWE 2K19, the NXT UK brand had some sort of a decent representation in the following year's WWE 2K20, as Mark Andrews, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, and Trent Seven were all added to the game's roster. That number must expand with this year's instalment.

When 2K20 dropped in October 2019, WALTER was the new United Kingdom Champion. His lack of inclusion wasn't all too surprising, really, but he was genuinely missed from the game. A total of 266 spots on the entire game's roster, and you couldn't find a space for 'The Ring General'? It didn't make sense.

Given how he's been featured more heavily on the normal NXT brand between the release of that game and the current day, however, the beefy Austrian is surely on the cards for WWE 2K22, alongside his Imperium brethren.

There are two caveats with WALTER's inclusion, though; the game must feature the crowd singing along to his entrance music, as they do with Shinsuke Nakamura, and there must be new chop animations. Plastering the already in-game chops on WALTER would be like giving Roman Reigns the in-game Spear used by Edge; it wouldn't do him justice.
