WWE 2K22: 10 Wrestlers Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut
3. Timothy Thatcher
Right, full disclosure, your writer's main reason for including Timothy Thatcher on a list like this is for one reason; it could result in the Fight Pit stipulation being in the game, too.
That in itself would be an excuse for your writer to continuously return to the game months after it has lost its freshness, just to slam fools into the cage walls and tear them limb from limb. It would be made even better if you're playing with a friend.
That's not to say that Thatcher being in 2K22 wouldn't be a bad thing, though. His unique moveset would allow for numerous cool moments, particularly if they add a new Fujiwara armbar animation for him. Merely thinking about the virtual tork of the former Ringkampf member yanking an opponent's arm out of its socket is making your writer overjoyed.
Ol' Tim has been on NXT's full-time roster since not long after the empty arena era began, filling in for Pete Dunne alongside (Matt) Riddle as NXT Tag Team Champion. The fact he's had an on-screen presence for over a year surely makes him a shoo-in for the roster, but then again, Tommaso Ciampa wasn't included in WWE 2K19, despite being NXT Champion at the time.
Still, we can dream.
