WWE 2K22: 10 Wrestlers You MUST Play As
With a roster of over 170 wrestlers, with more to come, who do you need to play as in WWE 2K22?
After over a year of anticipation, WWE 2K22 is finally here and the reviews are in.
For the most part, fans are pretty happy with WWE's newest game, as many of the major issues that have plagued WWE's video game franchise have been dealt with. As is rarely the case in sports video games, giving the developers of WWE's title an extra year to perfect their latest release has so far proven to be a success.
2K22 has seen the return of the highly requested MyGM mode, Showcase featuring the legendary career of Rey Mysterio, and most importantly, a reworked and drastically improved gameplay. All of this has done wonders for players across the globe who have waited patiently for a long time for a quality WWE game.
While all this is great, by far the most important and most talked about aspect of the game is the roster. Whenever a new wrestling game comes out, players often try out a few different wrestlers before settling on their favorites. Whether it be they like their moveset, think a certain wrestler gives them an advantage, or quite simply they want to play with their favorite wrestler, fans quickly get into a comfort zone with who they play as.
With a roster as large as this, it would be a disservice to stick with just a few wrestlers. So, here are ten WWE 2K22 grapplers you must play as.
10. Cesaro
Unfortunately for WWE fans, the only way to see Cesaro in a WWE ring anytime soon is to play as the Swiss Superman in WWE 2K22. Despite no longer being in the WWE, Cesaro's strength and athleticism make him one of the most fun wrestlers to control in the game.
While watching Cesaro lift up the likes of The Big Show or The Great Khali can often seem like a video game, 2K22 takes it a step further. Executing The Cesaro Swing is as fun to do in the game as it is to watch on television. While it may not deal the highest amount of damage in the game, following it up with the Neutralizer or Sharpshooter is sure to get the job done.
If these is a knock on Cesaro in WWE 2K22 is that his gimmick and entrance do not jump off the screen the way his athleticism does. His basic entrance and all plain, all black ring gear, while accurate to the Swiss Superman, leave much to be desired from Cesaro.
