For nearly a decade, the only way to see Edge face off against the likes of Roman Reigns or any current WWE Superstar was in games like WWE 2K22. Thankfully Edge has returned to WWE and fans are no longer forced to turn to video games to see fresh matchups for The Rated R Superstar.
One of the highest rated wrestlers in the game at a 91 overall, Edge is a go-to superstar, if only to see his entrance in video game form. Despite recently changing his entrance theme in real life, it will never get old watching the WWE Hall of Famer make his iconic entrance. Once in the ring, Edge has one of the most versatile movesets of anyone in the game. With a career spanning as long as Edge's, having moves like the Edge-o-Matic, Edgecution or even his Edgecator submission all compliment his classic Spear finisher.
One of, and maybe the only knock on Edge's character in 2K22, is that current Edge is the only version of the Rated R Superstar you can play as. When on WWE television, Edge has harkened back to his days in The Brood, as well as his various other gimmicks, leading many fans to want to don those characters in WWE's game.
