WWE 2K22: 49 Playable Wrestlers Who WON'T Return

9. Aleister Black

This is pretty disappointing.

Aleister Black has been a fun character to choose in the last few WWE games. His strike-based style and overall quickness actually makes him similar to Rob Van Dam back in the old SmackDown days, but alas...those days are over for now.

Black was released as part of a mass talent cull in early-June; rumours suggested he might make a return at some point in the near future, but that's been put to bed now he's shown up in AEW. To be clear, Aleister won't be bringing his vicious 'Black Mass' kicks to WWE's digital realm. "Father" will be rather disappointed to hear that.

Few gamers would complain if it was too late for 2K to delete Black from discs. That depends on how close to completion 2K22 is - the final product probs hasn't been shipped for production quite yet though, so fans of the ex-NXT Champion will have to cling to slim hopes that he slips the net.

Don't count on it due to that aforementioned AEW appearance.
