WWE 2K23: 10 Improvements Fans Demand
2. Real-Life Star Integration For MyCareer
If this gamer had to pick one improvement (just one), it'd be the integration of real-life WWE stars into MyCareer. Yes, top names do pop up in your CAW's story, but they're not playable, and it's infuriating that 2K don't see the potential in a proper Superstar-led Career Mode.
MyCareer is a ton of fun this year, to be fair. Using your character's phone to kick off stories, feuds and even side quests is the way go, and it'd be amazing to do that as a proper WWE worker. Playing as somebody like AJ Styles or Riddle, and experiencing WWE life from their perspective, sounds right.
This hasn't been a feature of WWE games since the old 'Road To WrestleMania' days. Who knows why not - everybody has a personal take on life in the company, which is clear when they leave and talk about it in interviews. Pushing that individuality in-game should be part of 2K's mission statement in 2K23.
A proper WWE MyCareer, one free of CAWs, is a must.
