WWE 2K23 Early Wishlist: 10 Things Fans Demand
3. Regular "Live Service" Updates
Nobody was expecting Cody Rhodes to be on-disc in WWE 2K22. The dude only traded AEW for Vince McMahon's company right after the game had launched; it's unfair to expect them to have a character model ready to go because Twitter was full of rumours, basically.
However, some sort of "live service" update stream would solve everyone's problems if 2K were willing to give it a go. Imagine the developers gleefully rolled out new superstars a month or so after they signed, or even tweaked wrestler appearances to better-reflect the real-life product.
That's the dream.
If Dolph Ziggler got sick of the long locks and shaved his head, 2K would remodel him and upload so gamers everywhere had the most updated version of his character. This would be ideal when workers debut new gear, or radically switch up their looks.
Keeping 2K23 as current as possible should be near the top of 2K's objective lists.
