WWE 2K25 Review: 11 Ups & 3 Downs

4. The Creation Suite

2K Games

Let's face it, the Creation Suit is something that's pretty much always guaranteed an Up when it comes to the more recent 2K games - and this year is no different.

So, if you notice one of those not-so-stunning in-game character models, chances are that some creative genius has made their own vastly superior version of that wrestler in the Community Creations. Or heck, you could even head to the Creation Suite yourself and see what you can knock out.

Where your skills are concerned, you'll also need to create your own wrestlers(s) for MyRise when you get around to tackling that story. Even then, though, MyRise has an import option where you can instead use an existing creation. Then there's The Island, where you again have the chance to create your own character, but as mentioned, that unfortunately can come at a cost.

For someone who remembers the 'select a head, select an upper body, select a lower body' basics of WWF Attitude or even those initial SmackDown games, it is forever mindblowing to see what the Creation Suites offer up these days. And as alluded to, the amazing creators in that space continue to do the lord's work, with their skills and patience meaning idiots like your writer can add a pitch-perfect CAW at the click of a button.

On that front, the above Ricky Saints from the ever-great Bhangra22man is already causing waves in Community Creations. Even at this extremely early stage, so many jaw-dropping creations have made their way online - be they wrestlers from other promotions, names from decades past, or simply those names, like Absolute, who signed with WWE too late to make the cut for 2K25.

Now, can someone make a great Tatanka already? The New Generation kid in me needs to right some wrongs and put that rascal to the main event spot he deserved...
