WWE 2K26: 7 Rumours You Need To Know

4. AAA And TNA

There was hope (admittedly false hope) that AAA and TNA wrestlers would make the bill for one of WWE 2K25's five post-launch DLC packs.

They didn't, obviously, because both the AAA buyout and the TNA working relationship became formalities too late in the process, but it wasn't exactly out of the question. WWE's video games regularly feature performers who've never even wrestled for the company, let alone those who aren't contracted employees, so a DLC pack featuring some combination of AAA and TNA's best seemed fair game. Instead, 2K lovingly added TNA icon Abyss to a DLC pack, and shoehorned a TNA-themed AJ Styles behind a pesky paywall in MyFACTION.

Great.

In WWE 2K26, however, there is a "significant" chance of external involvement, per Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp. A strong AAA presence in the mobile WWE Supercard game backs this speculation, where on-the-go gamers can take control of a plethora of AAA's brightest, including El Hijo del Vikingo, Mr Iguana, and Psycho Clown.

Notably, all three are the frontrunners to make it to WWE's console offering too, with the same @WWE2KLeaks X user sharing speculative .GIFs of Iguana and Clown. Vikingo, during his Supercard press campaign, was seated in 2K's all-body scanner, so unless he's been asked to provide a full-body passport players can expect to have the man at their disposal in 2K26.

His matches look like a video game anyway.
