Xbox One: 10 Big Changes That Would Actually Make It Worth Buying

4. Upgrade The Xbox Snap With Different Display Sizes/Audio Options

Growing up, picture-in-picture was the coolest thing. You play WCW vs. NWO Revenge in a tiny little window while watching WWE Raw, get away with a little Mega Man 64 while dad is watching Monday Night Football, it was a fun way to let everyone use the TV their way, as long as someone didn't mind getting the small screen . The functionality for this kind of thing comes pre-packed with the Xbox One. Rejoice! The first week with the console, surely many 'Xbox Snap'ped the music service and listened to some tunes while burning some rubber in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Alas the snapping isn€™t as robust as you€™d like. While you can €œSnap TV" to a small window on the right hand side of the screen, you can€™t snap a game there. As a result if someone wanted to watch TV and you wanted to play a game, you couldn€™t concede to them the majority of the TV€™s screen and continue to play in a small window. There are also no audio options for this function, causing strange soundscapes to emerge as you attempt to watch House of Cards on Netflix while bopping, booping and squishing your way through Rayman: Legends or Dead Rising 3. The fix here is simple - let players choose what they want snapped where and whether they want the snapped video or the main video being displayed to have full audio - suddenly most living room arguments of this nature are solved. Thankfully this shouldn€™t be too hard to do right?
