Xbox One: 5 System Features That Must Be Implemented

2. Friends - Circles?

To begin, Activity Feed. Whats the point? Why would I want to see what game my friend or person I follow has played over thirteen hours ago? The only feasible role it has, is informing you if a friend has uploaded a video to Xbox Upload. Something of which I have only used twice since getting my Xbox in November. It needs to heavily fine tuned to increase a level of attraction to the service. One thing I would like to see added though is a form of 'Circles' similar to what we see on Google+. With users having the ability to follow gamers now, and not having to actually 'friend' them, it's cool for those who want to keep an eye out on the activity of Youtubers/Pro Gamers. With a 'circle-esque' feature, we could have categorised groups which contain specific friends. So as an example, your groups could be divided into: Close Friends, Clan, Youtubers, FIFA Clubs/Team etc. Being frank, the Activity Feed might be a whole lot better if we only see the feed of certain players. This could coincide with the Circles feature. We of course have Favourites, but it doesn't divide your list up too well due to the amount of aforementioned clutter.
