Xbox One vs PS4: 10 Key Features Both Sony And Microsoft Need To Improve Upon

7. Faulty Launch Consoles

Consoles2 In my previous article I mentioned that both of my consoles were in working condition and haven€™t suffered from any faults. I€™m one person though out of over 2 million PlayStation 4 adopters and over 1 million Xbox One owners. So while I can offer my personal experience on the situation, I am in no way an authority figure on the reliability of consoles. The bottom line is that strange occurrences have been reported for both consoles, although actual failure rates are thankfully low. For some perspective, Sony says the failure rate of the PlayStation 4 is less than 1%, while Microsoft stated that Xbox One failure rates were low, although it€™s worth noting that they had no percentage to provide. With that said, I still hope both corporations take notice to the stories that are cropping up; such as faulty disc drives, busted HDMI cables, persistent locking up, and whatever else is out there. Nobody deserves shoddy hardware after dropping down some big bucks.
