6. Controller Woes
Both redesigned controllers are ergonomic and highly comfortable in the hands, so thats not what this point is referring too. What gets me is how frustrating charging each controller is, for different reasons too of course. Starting with the PlayStation 4 controller, theres no denying that the device is packed with useful and innovative features such as integrated speakers, fancy glowing bright lights, rumble, a touchpad, and more; but the charge it sustains is abysmally short. You will quickly make a habit out of charging the Dualshock 4 when away, because a 5-8 hour charge length is a wild letdown compared to the 80 or so hours a Dualshock 3 controller would last. The Xbox One controller remedies this with a very long charge length, but it runs on AA batteries like an Xbox 360 controller. You can argue that switching out batteries is quicker than plugging in a charging cable but realistically, buying batteries is annoying. I guess its time to buy another Play and Charge kit.
