Xbox One Vs PS4: Head To Head In 10 Key Areas

2. Graphics

B2ea1d53df2468afadacfe523f7c7399 This is probably the most pertinent point of contention for anyone interested in entering a new generation of gaming, and rightfully so. Coming in, the Playstation 4 had the upper hand considering that it was confirmed that only one Xbox One game- Forza 5- would achieve the technical marvel of 60 frames per second and 1080P resolution. Even multiplatform games factually run better on the Playstation 4, which is a complete 180 in landscape from last generation, where the Xbox 360 generally got superior versions of most titles. Despite that, I have to admit that the game that visually blew me away most was Ryse: Son of Rome for the Xbox One. A game like Killzone: Shadow Fall isn€™t necessarily far behind, but there is extreme detail and nearly photorealistic animations and facial expressions all throughout Ryse. So while Sony may technically have the upper hand, I urge you all not to count Microsoft out here, or to at the very least see Ryse in action with your own two eyes.
