Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: 10 Best Overworld Bosses

2. Igneo Talus Titan

Players probably got their first glimpse of one of the Igneo Taluses on the way to Goron City. Perfectly camouflaged as molten rock, the Igneo Taluses will burn Link if touched, making it impossible to climb the beast.

There is, again, a safety buff with the right equipment: the twice-upgraded Flamebreaker armour will make Link fireproof, and ice arrows can cool the Talus’ surface enough to climb on. With these tricks, the Ingeo Taluses are much easier to manage. That is until the Champion’s Ballad DLC came along and introduced the Igneo Talus Titan of Lake Darman.

This battle is much trickier, as the Talus Titan will not leave the lava lake, meaning Link must glide over the monster to reach the ore deposit. It’s easy to slip into the melting magma beneath this behemoth, and it’s body slams also create a hot splash of lava around it. It’s a palm-sweating challenge, but it’s more than worth it if you want to get closer to riding the Master Zero Cycle around Hyrule.
