9. Producer Eiji Aonuma's Tribute Shrine

From uber-cool easter eggs to little-known tributes to specific people, the very first Shrine you'll complete inside the Great Plateau is named the 'Oman Au Shrine'. Oman Au is an anagram of Aonuma, the surname of producer Eiji Aonuma, longtime collaborator on the Zelda franchise.

Coming on board as a key designer in Ocarina of Time, he would then take the reigns on the mighty Majora's Mask, becoming instrumental in the continuation of The Legend of Zelda in both gameplay and tone to this day.
