Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 - 10 Things Nintendo Must FIX

5. Climbing When It's Raining

Argh! This was one of the most prominently annoying gameplay mechanics in the entire game, and the fact that the sequel will use the same engine makes it more than likely that it'll appear again.

See, you can climb anything in BOTW as long as your stamina meter holds out.

However, if it's raining, climbing becomes impossible, sending Link slipping and sliding back down to the ground. That means you can't make any progress, especially if your destination is up a cliff side, so you just have to wait out the rain. Wouldn't you know it? Waiting out a storm in a game is just as tedious as it is in real life.

A possible solution could be to allow players to purchase or find a special item to allow climbing in the rain. Or just make it harder in other ways like have the meter drain faster etc. Maybe even just an umbrella.
