Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers stands as one of the very finest entries in the Halloween franchise. And one of the more memorable, jarring moments of that film, is the final shot of young Jamie Lloyd holding some bloodstained scissors in her hand.

To give some context, Laurie Strode had been killed-off in a car accident between movies, and Jamie was her seven-year-old daughter who'd been fostered by the Carruthers family. When Michael learns he's got a niece, off he sets to Haddonfield to slaughter the poor girl.

Of course, Jamie is backed up by her foster family - primarily foster sister Rachel - and the ever-great, ever-erratic Sam Loomis, and the picture ends with the Shape falling down a mining shaft after being shot countless times by the local police department and some of the townsfolk.

With Michael supposedly banished, Jamie's foster mother Darlene runs a hot bath for the child as the film rolls to a close. That is, until Halloween 4 switches to a first-person perspective and we take the viewpoint of someone who's stabbing Darlene time and time again.

From there, there's the shocking reveal that this would-be killer is Jamie Lloyd, donned out in a similar outfit to the one worn by young Michael in the first Halloween - giving fans one of the most haunting shots of the entire 13-film franchise.
