6. The Monstrosity - Smile 2

Unlike another metaphysical being, who's also rather well-endowed in the teeth department, it will take more than harsh insults to overcome the Smile Entity/Monstrosity/Demon/Tough Sonuvabitch.

Going by its actual physical appearance, let's go with Monstrosity, as per the Oxford English Dictionary definition: a thing, especially a building, which is very large and unsightly; a grossly malformed animal or plant.

Bearing in mind that pop sensation Skye Riley (a tour de force performance by Naomi Scott) passes on the curse to thousands of her adoring fans at the end of Smile 2, the Monstrosity could well represent the size of a building by the third film, given how much trauma it can feast upon. Sincerely hope it has a good dental plan in place if it does!

You can't help but be strangely transfixed when the Monstrosity, cheekily disguised as Skye, emerges in its true, utterly absurd-looking glory; nonchalantly pulling apart her mouth and crawling inside, before delivering the devastating denouement to her sadistic suffering - making her ram a microphone into her eye.

Seriously though, this grotesque parasite seems nigh-on unstoppable. Trying to escape the final, fatal possession? You'll have to murder someone in front of another person to pass on the curse to that unfortunate witness. Daring to bravely break the killing cycle, like Skye valiantly tried by stopping her heart to deprive it of a living host? Nope, your reality is still being malevolently manipulated.

The name's Colbourn, James - yeah, doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
