20 Best Kills In The Scream Franchise - Ranked

13. Lucas Bowden - Scream 7

Scream 7 may have left many fans disappointed and ultimately didn't boast too many memorable kills, but it did serve up arguably the single most cartoonishly violent death scene in the entire franchise.

Poor Lucas (Asa Germann), the local true crime obsessive and obvious Ghostface suspect, is ultimately vindicated in the most tragic of ways when he's attacked by Ghostface in a bar and impaled head-first on a spiked beer pump. And because this isn't horrific enough, we then get to see a mixture of beer and blood pour out of his mouth.

Even accepting that no bar in the world has a beer pump capable of piercing human flesh, this is a heightened kill that feels more like it belongs in a Halloween, Friday the 13th, or A Nightmare on Elm Street movie.

That said, it's grimly effective in its own right, all the more so when you realise that Lucas was killed by his own mother, Jessica (Anna Camp), who considered him too similar to her abusive husband, who she also previously killed. Wild.
