Fresh ends with Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones) finally killing cannibal serial killer Brendan (Sebastian Stan), but the climax rather glosses over the absolutely horrific future awaiting Noa.
After all, Brendan surgically removed a large chunk of Noa's buttocks earlier in the film for culinary purposes, and so one has to ask - what does life look like if you don't have an ass?
Say goodbye to ever sitting comfortably on anything ever again, and while the film presumably doesn't linger on it for logistical reasons, having most of your butt cleaved away is surely going to wreak havoc on your posture and gait.
Chronic pain, mobility issues, and a likely increased susceptibility to infections all seem basically guaranteed, and even if Noa wants to get back into the dating world again after dealing with Brendan, this will be one hell of a tricky subject to broach.
So yes, Noa survived, but isn't she basically set up for a life's worth of miserable pain management?
