20 Horror Movie Sequels Releasing In 2026
2. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
As absurdly entertaining as it was, Ready or Not is categorically a film that didn't need a sequel. The first told its story and ended on a pretty definitive note, yet it's also so much fun that it's tough to begrudge filmmakers Radio Silence wanting another go-around.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come picks up literally moments after the end of the original, with Grace (Samara Weaving) now being pulled into a new game where the world's most elite families will hunt her down or risk losing their own powers.
And here's the rub: Grace will also have to protect her sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), who has been kidnapped and thrown into the game with her.
Easy though it is to be skeptical about this sequel's "necessity," it sure does boast a stupid-good cast, with the ensemble of villains including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood.
If Radio Silence can deliver more grisly, darkly hilarious mayhem, then this should comfortably justify its own existence.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come releases on March 27.
