19. Courteney Cox's Infamous Bangs Were Fake
One of the most infamous aspects of Scream 3 is Gale Weathers' (Courteney Cox) much-maligned haircut, with the series' most stylish character uncharacteristically opting for some deeply ugly short bangs.
Cox herself said there was "nothing worse" than that haircut a few years ago, but what might surprise you is that the offending bangs weren't actually Cox's real hair at all.
Rather, Cox wore clip-on bangs throughout filming, and though this should've given the hair and makeup department no excuses for giving Gale a fetching 'do, the crew actually only had a single set of fake-bangs to work with when shooting started.
And so, once they cut it short and began filming, that look was locked in for the duration of production.
