Widely regarded as one of his finest albums since the 60s and 70s, Bob Dylan's Modern Times continued to usher in a new era of praise for the musician, which began with 1997's Time Out Of Mind. The album was Dylan's first number one in the United States since Desire, a whole thirty years previous. What's especially staggering is that at the time of release, Modern Times was considered to be music written by old Bob Dylan, yet here we are almost ten years later and the man has released another four albums (including an utterly bizarre Christmas album).
