10 Artists that Could Headline Glastonbury 2013

3. Radiohead

radiohead Radiohead. The band that everyone wants to see at festivals, so they can say they have seen them. With five UK Albums to their name they are certainly big enough to headline even though their last album, The King of Limbs was not really a commercial success. Radiohead have never really been a mainstream band though and they are a band that have constantly evolved rather than take the Oasis route of writing the same song over and over again. In general Radiohead seem to stay away from festivals which perhaps explain their attention. They headlined V Festival in 2006 and Reading + Leeds in 2009 but have not headlined a major UK Festival since. In 2012 they did play a couple European festivals and toured the UK across three dates. Out of all the bands on this list, Radiohead have the deepest relationship with Glastonbury Festival. In 2010 Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood played a secret set and in 2011 the whole band played a secret set debuting the new King of Limbs album. They have already headlined Glastonbury twice to great acclaim in 1997 and 2003, so it seems likely that they will soon headline again.
