10 Artists That Hate Their Own Albums

6. Be Here Now - Oasis

After What's the Story Morning Glory, Oasis really had lived up to every single title that they had set up for themselves. Noel Gallagher had always wanted to be a part of the greatest band in the world, and by the time they played their massive shows at Knebworth, there was no one else who could touch them. When you're as big as that, you're really tempting fate when you decide that you want to go even bigger.

Then again, time has been far kinder to Be Here Now than it was just a few years ago. While some of the press have called this one of the most misguided fumbles of the '90s, most Oasis diehards see this as the band cementing themselves as one of the most legendary bands of their era, with songs that feel like pop rock odysseys from start to finish. The critics can say all they want to about this record, but it appears that Noel Gallagher actually agrees with the press this time around.

As far back as the early '00s, Noel already had some pretty nasty things to say about his last album, saying that it was way too long for its own good and that most of the songs that he had from around this time were not up to his usual standard. To be fair, he also said that he was out of his mind on drugs during this time as well, so this might have been one of the greatest albums ever made if you were stoned.
