2. Night Goat (Live)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzTa8LIY_CY Some songs are made to be played live. No matter how good the studio versions are, they really come alive in front of hundreds of sweaty people, with Night Goat fitting that description to the letter - the chunky and distorted bass riff always gets crowds moving as one giant glorious euphoric wave of humanity. Once the rest of the band hits you know that they aren't messing around. This has got to be possibly one of the angriest songs they've written, with vitriolic wails and drums pounding your brain into oblivion. The grinding rumble and sparse drums that start the song off give only the slightest hint as to the carnage ahead. Night Goat has everything that a great metal song needs: heavy in-your-face guitar, relentless drumming, and noisy solos, not to mention the way Buzz belts out the vocals live just oozes with venom. One of the easier of their heavy songs to get into, it has been a crowd favourite since its release and continues to draw new fans in with the sheer power the song commands. Ferocity can turn a seemingly simple song into a total powerhouse, as very rarely have only a few riffs sounded so intense.
