10 Awesome Rock Music Songs With Terrible Lyrics

6. She Hates Me - Puddle Of Mudd

If you say that you've heard of another Puddle of Mudd song that isn't this one, then you are a liar and should be ashamed of yourself.

This Missouri-based post-grunge unit released She Hates Me in 2002 and, soon enough, it was everywhere. It topped the US and UK rock charts, damn near cracked the top 10 of both country's main charts, and won the band the ASCAP award for Most Played Rock Song of the Year!

And the lyrics are total garbage!

A good place to start is the chorus, which just repeats the name of the song a few times and then doesn't know what to do:

She f***ing hates me/Trust/She f***ing hates me/La la la love

If you pay attention to the rest of the song, you'll also discover such lyrical gems as:

In a trap, trip I can't grip/Never thought I'd be the one who'd slip

What "trap" is he talking about? Love? Where did he slip? Why does he keep changing tenses?

If you turn off your brain cells, She Hates Me is a lot of fun to scream at the top of your voice.

Just make sure that every single brain cell is disengaged, otherwise you'll be in trouble.
